The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCCJ) celebrated a successful Hackathon "Renaissance" and Networking Party, attracting around 40 participants, on Friday, January 26th 2024. The event, serving as a catalyst for collaboration between Canada and Japan, aligns seamlessly with the CCCJ's mission.
During the Hackathon, participants engaged in stimulating breakout sessions led by committee chairs, including those overseeing Publication and Communication, Events, Gala, Golf, Membership, Emerging Technology, Energy, Real Estate, and CSR. Greetings from each committee chair added a personal touch, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and idea exchange.

The First Annual TPP Cup was held on Friday, May 26th, co-hosted by ANZCC Japan (Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan), BCCJ (The British Chamber of Commerce in Japan), and JCCC (Japan-Canada Chambers Council) at Taiheiyo Club, Narita Course. 104 golfers gathered to display their skills while enjoying the beautiful weather and golf course. People were engaged in golfing throughout the morning and afternoon until the time for the award ceremony approached. The ceremony was followed by raffles where we presented 50 prizes kindly provided by our sponsors. The TPP Cup was successful in bringing our communities together for people to enjoy golfing and providing a bonding opportunity between other chamber members and sponsor clients.
