Now accepting testiominals about study aborad experiences 'JAOS Study Abroad Awards'

On July 8, specialist professional recruitment firm Robert Walters Japan, a CCCJ Corporate member, participated in the Robert Walters Group Walks to Kenya fundraiser to help provide a community in Kenya with clean water. With the aim of covering 6,341 miles (the distance from our London HQ to Tsavo, Kenya), Robert Walters Japan collectively contributed over 850 miles by walking, running or cycling.

The CCCJ is shocked and saddened at the killing of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. We are still struggling to grasp just how much Japan, Canada, and the world lost on July 8.

On July 3rd, 2022, the CCCJ hosted a Canada Day BBQ at the Official Residence at the Embassy of Canada with close to 200 people. This was the first Canada Day event since the start of the pandemic, and we are very happy to announce its success.

The Japanese Women’s National Rugby Team, the Sakura Fifteen, has been led by Canadian head coach, Lesley Mackenzie since 2019. They are now gearing up for the World Cup. The first test match vs. South Africa will be played at the iconic Kamaishi Unosumai Memorial Stadium on Saturday, July 24. The series will be the first time the Sakura Fifteen has played in Japan since the Women’s Asia Rugby Championship in July 2017.

From April 2025, all companies in Japan will be required to allow employees who wish to continue working until the age of 65 to do so. A total of 728 active full-time employees in their 20s to 60s, working for Japanese companies and foreign-affiliated Japanese corporations, responded to the survey. MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rio Tinto today announced, in partnership with Corona Canada, the launch of Canada’s first specially-marked, low carbon beverage can, manufactured by Ball Corporation. The cans, now available through a pilot in Ontario, were made using aluminium from Rio Tinto and leveraging ELYSISTM technology. As part of this limited release, 1.2 million cans were produced with a QR code to inspire consumers to learn more about the cans’ low carbon footprint.
